Notifications for pictures via text

Just moved up to the Ionic. In general, working fine. Just a couple kinks to work out. 

 

One being, if I am sent a picture through text, I don’t get a notification (all other types of notifications are working just fine, including all other texts and third-party notifications). I realize I won’t actually see the picture, but my Blaze used to still give me a notification and let me know an image had been sent. Anyone else experiencing this? In the grand scheme of things, small issue but curious.

A warm welcome to the Community @Shobie! Thanks for the details that you've mentioned. When someone sends you an image, a notification should show in your Ionic. (not the image but something to let you know, you ave a new message) 

 

I would like you to make sure that you've properly set the notifications. Also, confirm you have the latest version of the app which is 2.44.2 for iOS. Are you receiving images in text messages or Whatsapp? Has this always happened?

I get image notifications for WhatsApp (just tested) but still no image notifications for iMessage. And yes, my app is updated to latest version. All other notifications work just fine, for all apps. 

 

This is no real biggie, just like it when things work the way they’re supposed to.
