My fitbit ionic won't connect to Wi-Fi. I select the Wi-Fi Settings and it spins and says "could not connect to your device". I know that the wifi is working.
I got my watch in May 2019 and though I don't know if I set up Wifi then, it worked and I got the notifications I requested on the watch. In the last few weeks, however, it's not giving me those notifications. The watch is still syncing with my phone because it updates how many steps I've taken.
I've turned the watch on and off, as well as my phone multiple times. I've unpaired and paired via bluetooth. I even removed it as a device and re-added it. I've unchecked notifications and then turned them back on.
Is this related to the wifi not setting up properly?
What do I need to do?

They totally messed up the ionic with the update. It's not just you this is happening to. I highly doubt they will do anything about this and the bookload of other issues everyone is having.
