3 weeks ago I started thread about not syncing. After many people adding and having same issue, we got an update pushed through for our Ionic. Was happy to have it work. Immediately I noticed battery drain on my phone. I changed a few things on my phone, deleted a few apps I never use. It's Samsung 7s edge. Got the battery drain under control somewhat. NOW the notifications have stopped completely for past 4 days. I've spent 3 hours doing everything online and in directions to have it not work AND the battery drain is back!!!!
COME ON FITBIT! FIX MY PRODUCT OR offer me exchange or return. I'm devoted customer who loves my challenge group, and sleep monitoring and steps monitored. I was looking forward to using the swimming part this summer and finally wearing my fitbit all summer with no worries. But now I just want my money back. I feel betrayed and suckered by a company that ignores issues to push out a product too soon just to release another new product right behind it- the versa.
Recap- no sync, updated sync worked brought battery drain and now no notifications working.

Same here. I have been using Fitbit products from the beginning. Not always upgrading but went in quick with Ionic. Now regretting it. I have iPhone 7 and lost notifications months ago. I can’t return Ionic now but will consider different ecosystem for next purchase (which at this rate will happen soon).

I’m in the same boat. I did the software upgrade yesterday & since I’ve lost my notifications. I’ve tried everything recommended & still isn’t working. Pretty frustrating.

I've wasted another 2 hours of my life to get this device to work! I removed Ionic from app then went to set up device and now I can't get it to turn on its Wi-Fi, it won't connect via bluetooth, it keeps shutting bluetooth off even right after I turn it on. App won't load available networks! So now App doesn't work, and neither does the watch!
BIGGEST waste of my birthday gift to myself ever! I am done trying to make this work. So now I have a bulky, ugly step tracker that won't communicate! Worst part is I love my fitbit group who motivate each other. I'm the only one who gave in and paid the outrageous amount for this device and also the only one have any issues!
Fitbit customer service is non existent in this community until a thread has at least 5 people on it! I'm calling tomorrow to ask for refund or replacement. If they're smart I'll get replacement or offer to do versa. If not I'm going to social media to scream the truth about this company who is NOT taking care of loyal customers. I'm not wasting any more of my life to get a product to do what it is designed to do!
Shame on you Fitbit for taking my money and time!

@Jackie328 I uninstalled the app AND did factory reset of ionic. Notifications are back. This took 2 MORE hours!!! Luckily I have no life cuz I spent 5 hours + on Friday night to get it back to notifications working. Not all work. And not all day but some do some of the time today. Sync is weird. It's slower than before. Battery drain is slightly improved but still draining just not more than 10% in an hour.
If you have the time try uninstall app and factory reset ionic. The thing that took longest was the updates I think. Also I have to have the on all day and widget on in the product set up. When you're in the app setting up ionic and scroll to bottom I have to have both on and 1 warns of battery drain. But if I turn either off no notifications come.
Hope this helps 🙂
I'm still not happy. Will never buy another fitbit product again and will tell everyone not to buy them either. Sad to change my loyalty but my time and money are worth the respect of the company more than this 1 has shown. Good luck Jackie and anyone else who tries this 🙂
