Notifications stopped showing on my Ionic (Samsung S7 user)

Hi there,

I noticed all notifications stopped showing on my Ionic this morning. I tried  resetting, turning Ionic off and on  and double checked all notification settings.

I also read other posts with the same issue, but none of them were helpful in this case.


I should say I updated my firmware, but I did so after noticing the issue with notifications.

It seems the problem was with my phone.
I installed the Fitbit app again on and set all permissions on the phone again. It is now working!

@NandaPrado, did you check the setting on the Ionic itself to ensure Notifications is enabled? From the clock screen, scroll one screen to the left and ensure Notifications is set to "Receive from Phone".

Hi Larry, yes, I tried that. All settings seem to be right.

Everytime you install firmware, you need to remove the app from your phone and repair. It is a known bug that many of us have. Brute force solutions.
