So, I've had my new Ionic for 2 days. Not being a historical user of fitbit it was a struggle to get it all set up and know what should and shouldn't happen!! Anyway, I now receive notifications for texts emails etc. on the ionic but it does not vibrate. I have figured out from these forums that this should work!! I've restarted the watch (twice!), i have shutdown the watch (three times), I've deleted all settings on the watch, I've removed the app and setting from my phone and I've spent over 2 hours on the phone to someone in the useless customer service department, telling me to do what I've already done and STILL IT DOES NOT WORK!!!
Should I just return it to Amazon where i bought it??? I am furious ive spent £239 on this watch and it doesnt do the one thing I really wanted it for!!! Ultimately I am.super disappointed!!!
Can anyone help??

I suppose you have all done this, but just to make sure.......
On the watch swipe from left to right.
There are 2 options. The bottom one is about notifications. It should read: Receive from Phone.
Go back to watchface. Then swipe from right to left, choose Settings from the app list. Scroll a bit down to Vibrations. Set it to strong.
With these settings, keep the watch in your hand (not on the wrist) and send some kind of notification from the phone. It should vibrate.
If not, i would indeed suggest to send it back for replacement

I had the same issue and have resolved it now with help from the chat.
