Hello all,

 

I'm a fitbit user, but not an Ionic owner.

 

Is there a list of Ionic apps, online, anywhere?

 

I'd like to take a look.

PS. I'm thinking about upgrading. You might have seen this post - How long have you had your Ionic, and do you like it?

Flex (Christmas 2014), ChargeHR (Christmas 2015). Wife is using the Flex now! Nope, that Flex has died. Alta ordered 12/15/16 as Flex replacement. So far, she likes it. Nope, alta battery only lasts 2 days, started at 7. Support contacted 12/7/17. Hope warranty covers it.

Here is what the Help Article says about the apps available

 

WHAT TYPES OF APPS ARE AVAILABLE THROUGH THE FITBIT APP GALLERY?

Accessed through the Fitbit app, the Fitbit App Gallery is where you find and install new apps for your watch. The App Gallery offers apps to address a variety of health, fitness, timekeeping, and everyday needs. For example, the Weather app allows you to check your local weather on your wrist. Additional apps are added periodically to the App Gallery, so check back often to find new apps. To learn more about developing apps for the App Gallery, see How do I develop new apps for the Fitbit App Gallery?

 

Which doesnt answer your question lol. Once you have the Ionic the Fitbit app gives you access to the App gallery, but I cant see any way to access it unless you have the watch!

My fitbit ionic is sitting in the charger because the one thing I want to use if for is to hike and know what my GPS position is. I cannot believe that you have a GPS enabled piece of gear and it DOES NOT SHOW YOUR GPS POSITION. Or am I ignorant? I keep hearing about a list of apps and a mapping app and I have been all over the forum and done searches on the internet and cannot figure out where it is. Even if I do find it, there are posts all over the forum about how IT DOES NOT WORK! And, please do not tell me to go to the top left corner as in the app I have, there is nothing there about apps.
