Pairing AirPods to Fitbit Ionic

Has anyone tried pairing AirPods to their Ionic? I’ve been trying to pair mine and it’s saying it’s found them but it isn’t able to pair them. It’s just spinning around in a circle taking hours. Does anyone have any advice or a solution. Please help anyone.

Agree! Getting an Apple Watch instead. Very sad as I love my Charge2.

I am planning on getting an ionic I was just doing some research to see if I could connect the AirPods to it. I currently have the charge 2 but I am looking to upgrade. It looks like it works because of the reviews you posted. Thanks for sharing.

Could you please confirm if you're having the same problem to connect the AirPods to your Charge 2?

Thanks for your response.

I didn't realise you needed to push the button either the on the back of the case. So my problem is solved!. This should be the top answer!

Tried resetting my Ionic and it still won’t pair with my AirPods. When I first got my AirPods they paired with my watch easily. The volume control also worked.  Then the volume control  stopped working and with the latest update my AirPods will not connect with my ionic, it reads it but just keeps spinning and won’t connect. This is very frustrating!

I have done everything imaginable to pair my air pods.  I have reset my Ionic several times.  I have unpaired my pods and and tried to repair and it finds them but absolutely will not connect !  I am beyond frustrated with this!!  And yes I use the round button on the case when I am pairing.  Nada!  I don't know whether to trash my watch or my pods!!!

I thought about doing that.  I have a feeling I am going to need to do a factory reset on my watch I really don't want to.  Thank you for your reply.

For me you just have to go into Bluetooth in settings and hold the pairing button on the back once they are paired use the music shortcut, then tap the three white dots at the bottom of the screen and change it from your phone to your watch then you click your AirPods and go from there.
