Is anyone able to pair their Ionic with their cars bluetooth? My goal is to play Pandora on my car via the Ionic. I can pair the Ionic with my wireless ear buds and I can pair my car (a 2016 Mazda 6) with my cell phone but I can't get these two to pair. The Ionic sees the Mazda and starts to pair but stays in an infinite loop and the car just times out. Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks

@FredFornicola Welcome to the Fitbit family! Interesting! Thanks for trying to pair your Ionic with your car's Bluetooth.
Please try turning off every other Bluetooth device that's nearby and try pairing it again. Another thing you can try is performing a restart on your Ionic and then trying the set up process once again.
If your car's Bluetooth appears as paired, try unpairing it and then pair it back again. Also, if there is any way to reset the Bluetooth of your car, please do and try to pair again. If there are any other devices connected to your car's Bluetooth, please turn them off.
Try this out and let me know how it goes!

Thanks for the suggestions but so far, it isn't connecting. The Ionic does
see the Mazda and is trying to pair but it just never connects....and I'm
not sure it's Ionic that is the problem. I'll keep trying different things.

Same problem. Fitbit ionic sees Mazda CX-5 Bluetooth but responds Unable to Pair Device. Invalid Code Entry. Is it Mazda that I need to refer ?

@Waihitian @MannyGearbox Welcome to the Fitbit Community! Thanks for your interest in connecting Ionic with your car's Bluetooth.
It will depend on your car's stereo, some stereos will work with Ionic and some other will not. By any chance, do your car's stereo requires a code to pair with headphones or any other Bluetooth device?
Some stereos will send a pairing code to the device its trying to pair with. Ionic probably can't handle that.
Keen to hear if there are any users who have paired Ionic successfully with their cars?
Keep me posted!

@Waihitian Thanks for your reply and for sharing those details.
Yes, this is the part that Ionic can't probably handle.
I'd recommend creating an idea at the Feature Suggestions Board asking for this. That way users can vote for the idea too. The more votes the better.
Let me know if you post an idea. Keep me posted!

hi!
I was trying to think of a way of pairing my versa to my car. but as someone else mentions my car stereo requires a code to complete the pairing process.
I bought an aux bluetooth adapter that is bluetooth 5 0. it arrived from amazon today. connects perfectly!
hope you find this helpful.

yes I am able to connect my watch to my car. Note: I have a Nissan Rogue 2019. It didn’t ask me for a code to pair with. However, I can’t connect my watch to my Kia Optima 2013 car which has a code to pair.

Ran into the same problem, change my code (in my car) to 0000 (4 zeros) and connected without a problem. It seem if the code is anything else the fitbit doesnt have the compacity for anything more complex than 0000. Hope this helps.
