Yesterday I spent quite a few minutes in the peak zone above 136 BPM, during a workout. About 45 minutes workout with most of it in that zone. When I look at the activity it graphs this out nicely but gives no breakdown of any minutes of that activity being in the peak zone. Almost all of the 45 minutes were stated as cardio minutes with none in the zone above 136, which I believe according to the device is the peak zone for me at 62 years old, when looking at the small graph on the HR zones page.
Really wish fitbit used the heart rate reserve method for the zones, instead of the basic 220-age, thus giving users real custom heart rate zones. Being able to put in real custom zones would be nice on the Ionic, especially depending on the fitness level of the user.

@alexdawg1 Welcome to the Community. Thanks for taking the time to share your experience with Ionic and the heart rate feature.
Heart-rate zones can help you optimize your workout by targeting different training intensities. Fitbit estimates your maximum heart rate with the common formula of 220 minus your age, and calculates 3 heart-rate zones based on that number. Occasionally during intense exercise, you might notice your heart rate go above your Fitbit-calculated maximum heart rate.
If you would like that Fitbit changes the way that HR is tracked. The best way to make your voice heard is our Feature Suggestion board, those ideas are reviewed by our team and the status will change based in Fitbit's plans.
I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

Thanks, just turned it in on the feature request page.
By the way the next time I worked out, it gave me credit for time spent in what fitbit describes as the peak zone.
