Your support dept pointed me to the link for fitbit-compatible cellphones. My goodness it is hopelessly outdated. New cellphones like Samsung Galaxy S9, Huawei P20 or Oppo R11 are not in the list. Yet strangely my Oppo R9 Plus works with Fitbit. So something is wrong with the list. Nevertheless, I am thinking of changing to the latest Oppo R15 Plus and dont want to find out disastrously that it doesnt work with Fitbit. You need to update and keep current your list of Fitbit-compatible latest models of popular Asian phones like Oppo, Huawei, LG, Vivo, etc. Young, trendy Asian users of Fitbit change cellphones very frequently. As a personal request, can you tell me whether my Ionic is compatible with Oppo R15 Plus?

Oppo R15 Plus is not on the list of Approved Devices. As you have discovered, that doesn't necessarily mean it won't work but some functions may be restricted or missing. I would think if the Oppo R9 Plus works that it is highly likely that the R15 Plus will work. I realize that "highly likely" is not a good enough answer to make a purchase but that's all we can offer on these Forums.

Hi,
Just wondering if you went ahead with the R15 Pro and if it works with the Ionic?
Thanks

@richnickel Welcome to the Fitbit Community! Thanks for reporting the situation you are experiencing with Ionic and Oppo R15 mobile device.
The Oppo R15 is not showing under the list of supported devices.
The developer team is aware of the need to add new devices to the list of compatible devices. There are some users who can synchronize with non-compatible devices. If your phone meets the requirement of Minimum Supported OS (Android 4.4 KitKat), you can try the tips on this helpful article.
Hope this helps. See you around!
