Hi Guys and Gals,
I currently have Sony Wireless Headphones Walkman with a inbuilt 8 GB mp3 player which I'm very happy since they are completely waterproof for swimming and running in the worst type of rain but I'm getting the IONIC for Christmas which I know has Bluetooth, my current model of headphones LACK bluetooth and I was just about to order Sony Wireless Headphones Walkman 8GB with Bluetooth but wondering if its a lost cause?
So my question is pretty simple... assuming that you don't need audio to be played via the Watch is there any other benefit for having Bluetooth enabled headphones? as far as I know the coach is extremely limited with only 3 workouts which ain't suited for most people... does the Ionic do notifications over the headphones such as distance, speed, and pace vs previous runs etc?

The Ionic does not provide any audio feedback - not via bluetooth headphones or any other method. It vibrates whenever you hit your "cue" distance, and provides pace, distance, etc via the watch face.
So, no, there is no benefit to connecting bluetooth headphones to the Ionic if you are not going to store music on it.

Hi @SimonHayter,
Bluetooth enabled headphones are really useful for pairing with a phone, to take calls or listen to streaming music like pandora or spotify. My mp3 player has been gathering dust since it seems phones, tablets and watches are taking over. Just my thoughts.
