It looks like a lot of Ionics died in May of 2019.  Reply with how old yours was and when it died.

This was my 3d fitbit.  Had upgraded each time and the Ionic was my "fanciest" and most expensive.  I bought it so it would record my swimming activity in additions to the other exercise tracking.  After purchasing it, I also bought the weight scales, additional chargers and bands for my Ionic.  Fitbit says they'll give me a discount if I hand them over more money. No...not gonna do it.  Their product is defective and they should make it right.  Going with Apple Watch.

Reply with the date yours died and how old it was.

Mine died yesterday - 12/2018 born on date. Total black screen.  No “0%” display. No vibration on factory reset. No nothing. Tried every Fit board fix as well as all internet fixes. Nothing.

I have been a stock investor in Fit over last two years. Believe in community of users and transition to medical tech company. But seeing this problem accelerating, without Fitbit proactively finding a solution, I’ve got concerns with my investment in stock. Apple Watch is still selling a lot of 2 year old watches (AW2 and 3) without breakdown problems.

May 18, 2019. Almost 18 months old.  The Ionic was my 5th fitbit, I have the scale, bands and even an old Surge that still works while I wait on a new watch.  I agree fitbit should do something, but based on reading moderators replies, they are sticking with tough it's out of warranty...basically not caring about their users or product.
