I’ve got the ionic so a relivent Fitbit and it still hasn’t been sorted.

Hold the left button in and change the screen setting. I forget what it is on the ionic, it is either Quick View off or screen setting to manual.

I thought it was just the HR2 that was effected. It must be a software problem across the board then. So strange they haven’t done anything about it. I just won’t get another.

Sorry @DazzaRun  can you give more details about what 'issue' you are referring to?

This thread is about the display lighting up at night when the wrist rotate.

The Heart Rate sensor is used to detect sleep stages, so yes most users would like this sensor to start on. If you do want the heart rate sensor to turn off, I normally would say to go to the settings - Heart rate - turn off but with the latest firmwares the sensor starts lit but heart rate is not recorded.

Hi there, Yes, I know the thread is about the light turning on randomly at night when quick view is off. That is what happens to me like many others. Have I posted something that has confused the matter? Hopefully not. 

I just take the Fitbit off at night as it was waking my wife up to. 

Doubt it will be ever solved.
