Re: Swimming lengths not accurate

I know this is an old thread but I feel this is still relevant as I came across this thread in 2018 and the fitbit Ionic STILL has these issues.

I found a solution to my particular problem

The problem was that my Ionic was DOUBLE COUNTING lengths

I tried all the things such as tightening strap , setting pool length to M  ,swimming at a constant rate ect.

No Joy

In desperation

I Moved my fitbit from my left wrist (where it was correctly set as non dominant) to my right wrist (important: I DID NOT change the setting on the app so according to the app it was still on my left wrist)

The counting of lengths then became TOTALLY ACCURATE!

thought i'd share in case it helps others with counting issues
