I’m having the same issue (iPhone 7s).  I have tried everything.  Everything is enabled. I have reset, enabled, disabled, uninstalled the app, then reinstalled, restarted my phone.  Unpaired and repaired.  Now I’m not getting the weather either, it says unknown.  The Fitbit is syncing but not getting any notifications at all.

Have you checked for Fitbit permissions in the notification center? 

Is notifications turned on, on the ionic? 

How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device?
Receive call, text message, calendar, and other notifications on your Fitbit watch or tracker if you have a compatible phone.
