Rearranging Apps on the Ionic

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Did you know, that you can rearrange the Apps on your Ionic?  To do it, follow these easy steps:

1.  Go to the App screen on your Ionic that you want to rearrange.

2.  PRESS DOWN and HOLD the icon of the App you want to move.

3.  When you properly select the App you want to move, the App and screen will shrink.

4. While PRESSING DOWN and HOLDING the App, slide it to the new location on the screen. To slide it to a different screen, drag the App icon to the right or left edge until it slides onto the new screen.

It is easy once you move one around.  Totally customizable, so what’s not to love!!

You may have already tried this based on the other posts.

1. Swipe left on the clock screen, you should see the first set of apps.

2. Place your finger on one of the apps, all apps should shrink a little, then you can move the one you are putting your finger on around.

Great tip earlier that the apps you have on the far left of the screen are the quick launch apps you get with the right hand push buttons.

Thanks!!  Unfortunately for me, the button shortcuts appear to be stuck on music and notifications.  Trying to figure out why it's ignoring the first two apps on the first page.  Anyone else encountering this issue?  Thanks in advance!!

Not sure why or how you’ve assigned notifications to a button. Buttons should be mapped to the apps on the first page, those top and bottom left. Notifications is a swipe up from the clock screen. Have you tried a restart?

I'm having the same issue.  My right top and right bottom are both set to Notifications and Music and won't shortcut to anything else.  I tried restarting and it didn't work.  Any ideas?

How to rearrange the Apps on your Ionic:

1.  Go to any of the App screens on your Ionic that you want to rearrange.

5. To assign an App to either the TOP or BOTTOM Right buttons:

-- Move the App you want to assign to the FIRST App Screen (first screen to the right after the Clock Face).

-- Position the App you want to open with the TOP Right Button to the TOP Left Corner of the First App screen.

-- Position the App you want to open with the BOTTOM Right Button to the BOTTOM Left Corner of the First App screen.

REMEMBER - To access your Shortcuts, all you need to do is; start on the Clock Screen and a Short Tap/Press of the Top Right or Bottom Right button is all it takes!

That's all there is to it.  Once your Apps are correctly positioned, you'll have the quick starts you are looking for.  It is easy once you move one around.

Hope this helped and keep on STEPPING!

Yeah, my apps are in the correct place.  What I mean is the shortcuts don't work even though I've already rearranged my apps on the Fitbit.  But thanks for trying to help!  🙂

Mine was not working for a silly reason, I am used to the pebble where you
hold down the buttons for shortcut. On the ionic, you just tap.

OMG you are a genius!  This works!  I was holding the buttons down!  But the "tap" works!  THANK YOU!
