Recording Steps while tracking sleep?

I have the Ionic and for the last 2 days I have also recorded a lot of steps while sleeping, last night it was around 3800 but only 0.6 of a km travelled. The sleep tracker is showing I slept well so I don’t know why the step count is so high. I have shut the tracker down and restarted and also have it set to dominate wrist

@graker Welcome to the Fitbit family! This is very strange! Is this happening to you every night? Did it kept happening to you after the restart?

What days did this happened?

Keep me posted! Smiley Happy

G'day Santi

Yes it has happened since restart, I have also done a full factory reset, the most recent time was last night when it recorded around 3000 steps starting at 3-45 am for 1-1/2 hours when I looked at the step tracking, I have had to record Driving to take the steps of my daily count.

I wear the watch for sleep tracking so it is not sitting on a hard surface to be affected by vibration.

I did another Factory reset tonight so I will see what happens when I get up in the morning

Cheers

Grant
