So any help here will be appreciated. My ionic died recently, fitbit were good enough to replace it - thank you! - I already have the software for it on my phone and laptop but I can't figure out how to connect the new device to the incumbent software.
I would prefer not to have to delete and re-install. Lose all that history and customised items in food.
So yeah, any help appreciated

Your history is safely stored on the Fitbit servers and can be reached via mobile device or computer, so you could see it anywhere you are!
Just log in with your email address and password and you can set u as a new device on an existing account.
