Replacement Ionic not connecting or syncing to new watch

Hello everyone...

I recently received a replacement Ionic as the left button fell off my original watch.  I removed the original watch from my account and tried to set up new watch.

The new watch is charged and ready to go.  It never leaves the random start screen showing different languages saying to go to fitbit.com/setup.  I have tried to sync with no luck - will not appear as a Bluetooth option.

I go to set-up and it will not find the watch.  Then it says to be sure charged which the charger is plugged in and it just keeps searching.  It offers suggestion to turn off my watch - I have tried - it does not respond to the left and bottom right button being depressed.  I have turned off Bluetooth and turned on again - does not find the watch.

I am at a loss. I really like my watch - I think fitbit has awesome customer service. I just wish I could get my watch to work.

Please help.  I appreciate any feedback or assistance.

Have a great day!

Have you gone into your phones Bluetooth settings and unpaired the old Ionic? Also make sure any other Bluetooth devices are switched of at the time, including the old Ionic if you still have it.

You may also want to try uninstalling the fitbit app on your mobile device and then reinstalling it again.
