I recently had an issue with my Fit bit and under warranty they offered me a replacement or an upgraded device at 50% off.
The text in the link sent immediately starts with "To receive your discount on any new Fitbit tracker from Fitbit.com, review and accept the offer Terms and Conditions below."
It specifically says ANY new fit bit. I was interested in the ionic. So I tried to get the ionic after doing my research and finding that this was the one I truly wanted. When you get down to the bottom of the fine print you read :
The problem is, because I wasn't sure what I wanted when I first clicked it, I stopped at the words ANY FIT BIT TRACKER. I believe that the wording should be updated to avoid confusion in the future. It should state "To receive your discount on a new Fitbit tracker (from the following specific list) from Fitbit.com,..."
Now the tracker I spent all my time researching is not included. Basically I am about to buy a Garmin now.

That does seem to be misleading, @StevensL02, though it does seem to get down the details later. Sorry it didn't work out for you.

It's like the ol' terms and conditions that no body reads, it's a bunch of unnecessary drama imo.
Anyways, trackers are trackers, ionic is the smartwatch.

It’s bull**ahem** is what it is.
ask any surge owner about why they have to lose on board gps just to get an upgrade.
Even better that now after time is it is very apparent that non replaceable bands were a giant manufacturer defect.
