Reset pin for Fitbit Ionic

I have apparently forgotten my pin on my Ionic.  How do I reset it or change it?  When I go into "Device Lock", there is no option to change or reset the pin.  It only prompts me for the pin number.

I can see it not letting you reset password if don't remember old one, to be sure it is really you.  It can't let someone else pick up your lost device and use credit cards without knowing PIN.  I suspect what you have to do is factory reset which erases all your personal data, including the stored credit cards.  That will not delete your stored history data.  But before doing factory reset, do a sync if you can to get all your steps, etc from watch to Fitbit database.

But you will have to reload any apps you might have downloaded, and you will lose any personalization you have done, such as setting Exercise Shortcuts and any other settings.

On Ionic, you do factory reset right from watch: Settings > About > Factory Reset

Then on phone app logged into same account, add back the Ionic device.

Then you will have to add your credit card back in.

But you might want to the with Support first or see if you get another answer, because I'm not totally sure there is not another way, but I doubt it.
