Am I the only one who gets the ‘Restart Bluetooth’ on my Galaxy S8+ at least once daily when viewing stats on the Fitbit App?

Turn off always connected and all day sync. Your notifications will still work fine, and battery will be greatly conserved.
Make sure Android is fully up to date.

On the smaller S8 and get this several times a day. Will try turning off the settings suggested here.

I’ll give it a try for a few days and see what happens. Thx for the comeback.

It seems like all of the suggestions here work be it on a temporary basis. I have switched off all day sync and the always connected options and have had it work for a bit and then run into the same issue. I switch them back on and I’m back in business. Then hit a wall again. Darned frustrating for sure.
If you have multiple Fitbit devices, you may have better luck removing them from the app. This helped a little bit and is recommended in the setup checklist thread on these forums. But sometimes I switch trackers while the ionic is charging. Setting it up as a new device each time is troublesome.
I hope this gets resolved soon. Really love the Ionic itself. Not the syncing.

Reset the Ionic. I had to reset the Ionic 3 times before I solved this problem with my S8

After a week of basically turning most everything off and a reset, today 11-1-17, I got the Restart Bluetooth again. Other than a week without getting the message, the only other observations I have made is that syncing is painfully slow 1ST thing in the morning, on the order of 90 seconds plus, have to sync several times to get sleep to display, will not sync when battery is below 25%.

I have that same problem on my HTC U11 too, and it's really annoying! Data is only able to sync when I have it connected to the charge cable.

Do you get notifications from your Galaxy S8 on the ionic? I can't get any to come up from my phone that I purchased back in Sept. I contacted support and they say its a glitch with the app. not being able to work until updates are made. When did you buy your ionic?
Thanks
Samsung S8 user.

laskaGirl,
I preordered and received my Ionic October 4th.
The Restart Bluetooth message comes up on my S8 when I am syncing. I turned off the 'All Day Sync' and have only received the message twice (yesterday actually ) .
I have been receiving a new message, 'Ionic is not syncing because Bluetooth is not turned on', of late, when it in fact was. This occurs 1st thing in the morning but on occasion during the day as well.
Also, when syncing on-demand.. I am getting the message, 'Your sync has been scheduled...' i.e., you'll have to wait.

Always connected AND all day sync should be off.

I turned off ALL DAY SYNC and and ALWAYS CONNECTED in November and have had no further Bluetooth issues since turning them off. I wasn't exercising because of weather basically using my Ionic as a pedometer which resulted in only having to recharge every 7 days. Syncing once daily, 1st thing in the morning, worked well with a tolerable wait time.
I am currently wintering in south Texas where am cycling nearly every day and have turned ALL DAY SYNC and ALWAYS CONNECTED back on and have had no further Bluetooth problems. Perhaps the December update fixed my issues.

No you're not alone. This is 5 days I've been receiving the same message. It's frustrating.
