Running with the Ionic

Hi

Help, I’m waiting for a further call back as Fitbit customer service needed to check also. I’ve recently upgraded to the Ionic from the blaze.  I’m unable to receive voice cues when running, ie per mile tracked and current pace, it seems that it is set up correctly on my settings but doesn’t let me know during my run.  Does this work on both running and treadmill settings? Also the idea of GPS and music means you don’t have to run with your phone but how do you then hear the voice cues?

Hi,

I don't hear voice cues when I run either... it is set to vibrate per K or mile.  Regarding music and GPS, I chose the Ionic specifically as I wanted my tracker to do this.  After transferring a playlist onto my watch, it works without any problem and I don't take my phone with me anymore.

There is no voice cues so nothing wrong on your configuration. Maybe in a next update but only Fitbit knows it.

Yes, music and GPS work great without phone.
