Two weeks ago, I went to the beach with my Ionic on. I was in the water for no more than 30 min in depths of abt 5 feet. Despite rinsing and drying off my Fitbit isn’t turning on even after connecting it to charge newly. I even put it in dry rice to suck out moisture. This is disappointing as the manual says ocean water is fine. Does anyone know what I can do - I’ve only had it for 6 months and I’d like not to have it destroyed already. Thanks.

I spend a month, every day for at least an hour a day, in salt water and never had a problem. Looks like your device is defective. Hopefully it's under warranty and you can get a replacement.

Nelly tks a lot for the reply. I’m not super tracking where the link is - can you point me in the right direction. I bought it from Best Buy and I’ve done more to fix it and it is still not turning on...
Really appreciate the help. Nothing I am doing so far is working.
