After charging my screen was totaly different. The screen colours were faded/gone: only soft yellow pink and white. The letters/signs and numbers are no longer tight: you see the blocks due to less pixels.
I turned the watch off, selected a different screen but the problem stays. Before the charging the screen was normal. I have the watch since July 2018 and never had problems.
Is this a software or a hardware problem?
Has anyone had this problem too?
How did you solved it?
Kind regards Mariska

I have a similar issue after charging the heart rate, steps and distance icons are faint, grayed out like to use a computer term. The action to show the screen is also less responsive. Is this the same issue I wonder?

I had a similar issue, which is why i am here. I charged my Ionic 2 days ago, and i thought it was fine, 30 minutes after I took it off charge, my screen has gone black. I guess i need to call support to see if they can figure it out.

Hi there, i have also send an e-mail to the support departement. Haven’t heard from them yet. My screen is changing colours frim white/ soft yellow and pink to now blue white and soft yellow. All the information is not as bright as it should be. And all the signs are in blocks like the early days when we had the first dos computers ......
how can I post a picture here?

Tonight I selected the option to set the Ionic to the fabric settings. I was hoping that the correct bright screen would return. As a result I now cannot connect my Ionic with my phone. I get the pincode but after that the message on my phone is that it is not possible to connect with the watch. Tried it several times without getting the connection...... The watch returns to the starting screen with the welcome message in several languages. And only in 2 colours: blue, white and with the 'dos' block letters.....
Customer service when do you reply and give us the solution which me and others need? If it can be fixed! To my experience the life time of a fitbit seems max. 1 year. That should be much much longer! I had before the Ionic 2 FB Charges. And also with problems. Only not with software/hardware problems like this. Are these problems some kind of theeting problems?

So I did end up contacting Customer Service via chat and was told that my fitbit was outside of the one year warranty and that I could purchase another fitbit product for 25% off. Fitbit does not have a guaranteed how long the watches will work. I think for the amount that I paid for my Ionic, it should be a guarantee that it last longer than a year, especially since the watch itself had to be replaced before my year warranty was up. And the replacement watch is still under the original warranty, you do not get a new warranty to cover the replacement. So if the replacement last only 3 months and your warranty is over, you may want to look at a different brand.I not sure I will replace my fitbit with another fitbit.
