My Ionic screen has completely popped off after 14 months of use. This is completely unacceptable. Of course, my warranty just expired too. And what does Fitbit offer me? % off another Ionic! What a joke!
I will not purchase another Fitbit just to have it fall apart on me.

Please stop apologizing. If fitbit was sorry they would fix the issue. And yes further assistance is needed by what @SunsetRunner just said.
Maybe your apology should follow with:
"We're truly sorry that you had a less than perfect experience with Ionic. For the poor quality standards we would like to refund your money back."
Now that would be a great apology.

With no warranty to void, I went to Walmart and picked up a tube of E6000 glue and reassembled my watch. I can't afford to buy new fancy smart watches as they break, so fixing it was my only option.
So far so good. It doesn't appear that I caused any further harm to the watch. We will see what happens when I have to use in the rain and snow now.

I’m literally crying because this happened to me, and it cost 400 plus tax and they don’t care. I’m so upset. I won’t buy another Fitbit myself again. My kids have theirs, and that will be it. Loved the app. Too bad their product is awful.

I don’t know how to fix it, myself. I wish Fitbit would at least offer to repair. It’s not like it’s a cheap watch. This is literally the most expensive watch they sell. I’ll try and google and YouTube some repairs and see if I can do it. As for water, this watch never seen water before. I have the leather strap and am very careful not to ruin that.

Even a repair! I don’t want mine replaced, I want it fixed. For 400+ dollars, this should be an option. Any watch in a jewellery store worth 400+ has an option to repair. They’re never like, sorry about your luck. Try buying another one and see if that resolves your issue. Money money money here. 😡

My ribbon is ripped. I’m guessing that when the face fell off I had not noticed and went about my activities as normal as it was exposed, and it got torn from the device. Not sure that that part can be fixed, can you elaborate on how damaged yours was?

I got the new Fitbit versa over a year ago, when the screen fell off, so Fitbit sent me a replacement (refurbished one??)only for it to stop working, Fitbit is a joke, if the face falls off a watch at that price, Fitbit needs to get there act together 😤😡 safe to say it will be the thing I buy off Fitbit, Apple Watch is the way forward.

You lucked out and your ribbons were intact! One of my ribbons got pulled clean out of the screen so there was no option to reattach to the watch. I was in bed last night and screen just caught on my beds sheet and popped right off ... it was a wtf moment. Also i took a look if i could just put the ribbons back in but nope, they were ripped out of the screen. 😞 The irony is that my wife purchased a garmin for me for my birthday because she heard my rants about the build quality of the fitbits and the problem with connectivity, but i had her send it back. Also my last ionic died because i trusted the seals on it and swam, and they had failed in a little over a year, just like this one. I would strongly encourage anyone buying the ionic to get as long a warranty as they can with it. as i have had to buy a new one every year .... im really really really bummed. Oh yeah i had it 13months lol..

My ribbon came out too. I ended up buying a new one with warranty. Definitely worth it, but I believe that the ionic watch is garbage. I have since replaced mine with the versa 2 and love it. Not so bulky. Still need to have a warranty though.
when my watch Broke, I was devastated and I cried pretty hard lol. More upset about the money loss, really. Like, they’re not cheap and should last more than a year.
