Screen has died - now just a hazy glow.

I bought my ionic back in December 2017 and have been really happy with it. As a triathlete, I love the fact that it can easily move between disciplines and I find it easy to use and comfortable.

However, recently, I have experienced serious problems with the screen. To start with, it wouldn't open immediately when i clicked the button but sort of skipped and then finally opened. Then the screen split, and displayed a pixilated version of the clock face. Finally, the screen has now just faded to a hazy glow with no image and no way of resetting to factory settings. I have tried holding the left and bottom right buttons to reset, but nothing. I have tried leaving on to fully charge, but nothing. I fear that this could be a problem with the device but have also heard rumblings of a factory recall due to serious screen problems on this community discussion page.

Any thoughts? Am I going to have to send back and get a replacement?

Thanks in advance

Try a restart. Do it at least 3 times.

This just started with me tonight. Tried re-booting without any success. It’s charged...just a light blue outline that then glows and gets brighter. Looks like this is going back.
