Screen repeatedly showing 'unlock on your phone'

I am unable to navigate on the watch screen as I keeo getting the 'unlock with your phone' message. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing the app, to no avail. please assist.

This normally happens when the wrong PIN number is entered too many times. Instructions for unlocking with your phone can be found in this help file: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2250
