I'm assuming you have the latest update.  If so, a long push of the left button will bring up Screen Wake setting.  Then click on Auto.  If the long push brings up anything else, try a left or right swipe.

Press and hold the left button, swipe from the right of the screen to the left and confirm that screen wake is set to auto.
