Sensors on back of Ionic not working

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I recently noticed my ionic wasnt monitoring correctly and wouldn't come on with motion. I then realized that the lights (sensors) didn't come on when removing watch or charging.  I've done a factory reset and still no luck. Has my watch died.

Regards Kirsty

Hi.  My watch will charge but the battery is drained daily.  The red light on the back of my ionic stays on.  My readings are not right either.  I believe I got mine Christmas 2018.  I really like this watch.  Cannot afford a new one.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Kirsty2503 @MZCRAWFORD2U.

@Kirsty2503 I appreciate trying to troubleshoot beforehand and for providing the details of the issue with your watch. I recommend to swipe down from the top of the screen, and tap the quick settings icon. Make sure that Do Not Disturb and Sleep Mode settings are off. For more information about navigating your device's screen, see How do I navigate my Fitbit device?

I also recommend turning off/on your heart rate setting (On your device, open the Settings app > Heart Rate > tap to turn the setting Off and then On) and restarting your device. For more information about factors affecting your heart-rate reading, see What factors can affect my heart-rate reading on my Fitbit device? You can find information about accuracy of your device at How accurate are Fitbit devices?

@MZCRAWFORD2U I understand how you are feeling about this situation. Thanks for the details shared. I recommend double checking our charging instructions and trying our tips for preventing battery drain since battery use is affected by various factors and settings. Please check this article about accuracy of Fitbit devices.

Keep me posted on the outcome.
