Hi All,
Just wondering what the bottom (blue coloured) sensor on the Ionic is for and if mine perhaps is damaged as you can see there is a lighter area at the bottom, I don't have another device to compare it too.
Now the device is working fine for me at present but if it is a sensor for an as yet unreleased feature I would rather have it fixed now.

The green LED light and that little pad comprise the regular heart rate sensor. The two red ones are blood oxygen sensors that aren't yet functional. If your heart rate is working, I'd say it's OK. There is glass covering the sensors to protect them, and you just have a bit of space between the glass and the sensor.

Good question. I'd say it is the heart rate sensor, and that picks up the green LED light. Mine looks similar.

Thanks @SunsetRunner good to know it is probably meant to look that way then and its not just my device.
Still curious as to what it is for though 😄
