I have had my Ionic for 6 days and it has required a firmware update everyday. Today after I performed the update it immediately said another one was available. Here's the crazy thing though my firmware has been at 27.70.714 since I got it. Even though I get the "Installation Successful" message (all eight times I've updates in the past 6 days) the firmware has never changed. What's really annoying about this whole thing is that it takes about a half hour to update and doesn't log any activity during that time. So do I just have to live with the constant notification of a false firmware update, never knowing when a new update is truly available? Or do I turn off the notifications and guarantee that I will miss out and any future updates?

Hi @Patrick_Bateman, It's nice to see you again participating here in the Community Forums, welcome back!
Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for troubleshooting this matter prior to posting, I totally understand how frustrating this situation can be for you and certainly your device isn't performing as the way it was designed. It's really odd that your device is behaving in such way, therefore, I'd like to suggest you to perform a factory reset on your device following the next steps:
Take in consideration that a factory reset deletes any stored data, which includes all data that hasn't synced to your Fitbit account and your applications, alarms, etc.
Keep me posted and let me know if you have any additional questions.

Hello,
I still have the same issue, i have had the watch for 4 days and it keeps asking for Firmware updates. I have updated it successfully about 10 times in 4 days...
Anything else i can try?
Thanks
