Is there a way to completely silence my phone when the ionic is connected? What's the point in having my phone ring or vibrate, if my watch already notifies me? This is the main reason for me to wear a smartwatch to keep my phone completely silent to not disturb everybody around me. Every other smartwatch had this feature and it is really annoying not to have it on the fitbit.
Thanks, Stefan

I have the iPhone, so I can only help in that regard. So, you will need to flip the switch above the volume buttons (iPhone 4-8). When you do, you will see a RED Line above the switch and you should also receive a message on your iPhone stating your iPhone is SILENT. Your external phone notifications should now be turned OFF. You may also need to go into your settings to instruct your iPhone on how to behave when you turn that switch on.
Hope this helped and keep on STEPPING!

Unfortunately on Android Fitbit is reading the DnD status which makes no sense IMHO. But thanks for your suggestion. Maybe somebody which an iPhone reads this and maybe Fitbit will fix this for Android and introduce a setting to silence the phone, when the watch is connected.
