Hey everyone!
I'm looking to purchase an Ionic and only have one fear as of now. I am a female with relatively small wrist. I'm only slightly concerned that the face is going to be too bulky. Is this watch heavy? The problem I had with the Apple Watch is it was too heavy and actually hurt my wrist. Any information you guys have on this would be great!
Thanks everyone!

The Ionic is lighter than the Apple Watch; 47g as opposed to 62g for the AW (couple of grams less with the small strap).

I’m sending it back. It’s way to thick on my wrists and gaps off my wrist where the band bends. It feels more heavier han the series 3 Apple Watch ( 38mm version aluminum gps only) imo.

@AshtynS it depends on which Apple Watch you buy.
47 grams : Ionic
smaller Apple Watch, aluminum case, sport band
42 grams : 38mm Series 1
45 grams : 38mm Series 2 with GPS
54 grams : 38mm Series 3 with GPS
56 grams : 38mm Series 3 with GPS+Cellular
larger Apple Watch aluminum case, sport band
47 grams : 42mm Series 1
51 grams : 42mm Series 2 with GPS
60 grams : 42mm Series 3 with GPS
62 grams : 42mm Series 3 with GPS+Cellular
(I think the new super comfortable Sport Loop bands would bring down the weight a couple grams)

@Bunnybear_05 This may be a dumb question...but did you check to see what size band you had on? Mine came with the large band attached. Did you try the small band?
My wrists are larger than yours and it still gaps, I think it is meant to do that. 😊 I think it looks cute on you, btw.

It was the large band. ( which was weird cause everything they ship out usually is the small/medium one attached) But it looked the same with the small band too. It was just too raised off my wrist, if that makes sense. Like it was really tall on top ( sorry. I’m terrible at explaining it. lol.

Its big, like the Blaze. I've got a couple friends (women) that returned the Blaze and bought Charge 2 because the Blaze was too big.

I had the Blaze ( with the slim pink strap) and I was ok with that. But yeah...this is thicker and heavier then that.

Hi Bunnybear_05, would you mind telling us your wrist size? I also have small wrists and it will really help me make the right decision!

I have thin arms and wrists too, and I love my Ionic. It’s very lightweight a fits nicely on my wrist. I forget it’s there sometimes.

@Ac44It looks great on you, I agree!! That's the small band right? Do you happen to know your wrist size?

Yes, it’s the small band. My wrist is 5 inches. 😊

I am also a small woman with a skinny wrist and, like you, was concerned about the size. It is not a small watch, but the size doesnt bother me at all. Because of the shaping and the angled bezels it doesnt look outrageously huge on my arm and it is very light. I completely forget I'm wearing it. I am amazed at how comfortable it is.
It actually looks bigger in the photo than what it looks and feels in real life. And I have had a lifelong dislike of big watches!

I thought the Ionic would be big and bulky too, as well as heavy....and I've got big mitts! Boy could I have not been more wrong: it fits so perfectly and is so lightweight that I often forget I have it on.

You should get the new Fitbit Versa. It has the same technology that the Fitbit Ionic has (minus the GPS) in a smaller form factor, and it is only $200! $130 less than the Ionic.
