Hi everyone!
Thank you all for taking the time to let us know that you did not receive Sleep Stages last night.
Our team is aware of the outage and has since resolved the issue. You can expect to start receiving sleep stages again tonight.
I also want to assure you that this outage was not related to the recent OS 1.2 update that was pushed to Ionic users. If you have not already done so, you can safely update your firmware once you have received the notification to do so.
Thanks so much for taking the time to report this! If you have any questions, feel free to let me know.

Hi, after a successful update my sleep stages still are not detailed. It’s only showing the simplified version. I’m currently running the latest firmware on my device and most current Fitbit app from iOS. I’ve even tried to switch wrists to see if it made a difference but it didn’t. What else can I do to ensure I see REM,litght sleep, deep sleep etc?

I received detailed sleep data this morning, so I'm hoping it was just a one-time firmware glitch for me. Keeping my fingers crossed.

@Heather-S Just an FYI, Fitbit Support stated that the outage was a result of a problem on their end. It wasn't a result of the Ionic firmware.

Due to your feedback, our team was able to implement a quick fix. Moving forward you should still be receiving sleep stages as normal.
If you are still having trouble receiving sleep stages, I recommend taking a look at this article for some troubleshooting tips.
Since this issue has been resolved, I am going to close this thread down. However, if you continue to experience any issues with Sleep Stages, I invite you to start a new topic on the board and I would be happy to assist you there.

Two days of trying to update has taken its toll. Fitbit, take your watch and give me my money back. Why release an update if it causes so much stress?
