Sleep report is unreliable-Ionic

For months the sleep report stopped showing correct readings and stopped showing the first graph.  I used to get reliable readings and graphs in the past but software upgrade killed this feature.

I wonder why this problem has not been picked up by Fitbit.

I changed sensitivity to Normal and it made the difference but still not getting reliable reports.

Thanks for visiting the Fitbit Community, @Dodolona.

I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced with your Fitbit Ionic. Thank you for trying to get them resolved before contacting us.

In this case, I would recommend visiting this article, open the menu "Why don't I see sleep stages today?" and follow the instructions.

In addition, please restart your Ionic by following these steps.

If you continue having the same issue, please provide the following information:

- Do you see any error message?

- Are your sleep logs split in two?

- If possible, please attach a screen shot of what you see in the app.

Hope this helps.

My issue is that lately my Ionic is not recording sleep for an hour or more after I am sure I went to sleep.  Sensitive and normal settings seem to be the same.  I have rebooted my Ionic to see if that suggestion helps but I am not hopeful.  Was there a change to the sleep sensing in a recent update?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Trebor47.

Thank you for the information provided.

Your Fitbit Ionic should keep registering your sleep as with the previous firmware version.

If necessary, you can edit your sleep logs by following the instructions in this article in the menu "How do I edit or delete sleep logs in the Fitbit app?".

If the instructions shared above don't work, the best way to get help for this problem is to chat with us online or give us a call. Please click here to get connected.

I have up on trying to work out what is working of not working with sleep reports.

it has been unreliable for such a long time that it is something for Fitbit to sort out.  I made a number of different issues with the sleep data and would say that every software update does something but never resolve issues once and for all

the last noticeable sleep issue on my list is while in the bathroom, the watch is laying idle but thinking that I am still sleeping even though the watch cannot measure the pulse.  This is thinking a dead person is alive (sorry to put it this way).
