I ran 6km with my group last night and tracked it by using the Activity then Run setting with GPS. At the end of the run once I'd stopped the timer and saved it, a couple of us decided to carry on and I didn't have time to start a new run.
Now I assumed that my Fitbit Ionic would automatically know I'd started running and after 10 minutes would then log that as a run BUT it hasn't. I ran for another 30 minutes yet it doesn't show as activity at all.
Should that happen? Should I have tried harder to actually start recording another run?
Many thanks

Hi @TinaMorris, welcome to the Community Forums!
Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared in your post. To better assist you with this situation. can you please let me know when was the first time you experienced this issue and how many times since then? Is this occurring with Run exercise only or other activities are also being affected? Keep in mind that your device recognize activities that are at least 15 minutes long, if you make a pause during that period, the activity will not be recorded. After taking this into consideration, please restart your Ionic and check: How do I track my activity with my Fitbit device? for more information about how SmartTrack works.
Looking forward to your reply.
