My husband got me an Ionic as a gift. I have used the Charge 2 for years and really liked it. I recently started doing interval running at home and needed a smart watch to keep track of my intervals. I used my son's iWatch for a few weeks to see how I liked having something like that. I don't have an iPhone, so decided I wanted the Ionic.
I am so disappointed with the app options in comparison to the Apple watch and my android phone. It's essentially useless for intervals. I've tried the HIIT one and Tabata Timer. I can get apps that work so mich better for free on the Apple watch and my android phone. I'm not going to pay for these crappy ones on the Ionic.
What gives, Fitbit? You can do better!
Also, it doesn't hold a charge very long. Mine only lasts about 3 days before needing to be charged. I thought the product description said up to 6 days. Yes, I know what "up to" means. Usually the performance is better than half of what is stated.

I don't know. How do I check that?
I used GPS on my charge 2 and it lasted about a week.
