Firstly Fitbit has to be the worst tech piece of kit ever made, I am returning mine and don't want a replacement either they are just not fit for purpose. To satisfy curiosity why would my IONIC suddenly start 'turning on' the screen awake / notification screen for no reason.

 

Useless piece of kit that is just so amaterist in its make up.

Sorry it didn't work out for you, @Slimm.  My Ionic has been very much "fit for purpose", and has not had any issues. Your Ionic is probably turning on the screen for a reason,  such a receiving notifications or reminders - just have to find out what the reason is and change settings.

I have the same problem on my Ionic: the Screen Wake function randomly flashes on, and vibrates. It usually happens twice, and can occur several times a day. This is particularly annoying at night! Any ideas for a fix?

PS, apart from this problem the Ionic works well.
