Steps don't reset

I have the Ionic watch.  I've had for over 6 months now.  This past Monday the watch did not reset the steps to zero at midnight.  I reviewed forum articles - restarted watch, even shut it down too.  It reset on Wednesday and Thursday.  This morning (Friday) I woke up to having over 3,000 steps already.  That's not even in the ballpark of what I would get the previous day.  I used the smart phone graph and added up the bar chart for today.  I actually walked 3,376 steps today.  The watch says 6,860.  How did it start with 3,000 steps??

You say it did not reset at midnight. I wonder what yesterday's step total was, and if yesterday's totals added to today's totals would explain what your seeing?

Do you turn tyettracker off at night?
