Steps on Ionic and app do not match challenge

My ionic and my app are displaying about an extra 2000 steps more than the challenge. When the challenge updates it is always 2000 behind! 

i have turned off phone. Logged out of app. Turned off bluetooth etc as all other suggestions on the internet but nothing seems to adjust it?

Hi @Finkkster,

Sometimes there's a backlog on Fitbit's end when syncing steps to challenges.  Unfortunately, there's nothing that can be done about that.  They will eventually update when the Fitbit servers aren't as busy.  The fact that the Ionic and the Dashboard are both showing the same numbers leads me to believe that this may be your issue.  Since the steps are on the Dashboard, Fitbit has them on their record that those steps were earned and will update accordingly.

Ahhh ok so servers have a backlog. That’s great. I did think the Fitbit was ok as it was the same as my app. Cheers! 😬👍🏻
