Can we log a story to enable Strava recording from the Ionic. I want the functionality to be able to start my run in Strava and have Beacon work at the same time. Syncing after means Beacon can't work.

There is no ability in the Strava app to record anything. It is purely a window to your past activities,which are stored on Strava. All recording is done by the Ionic and synced to Strava after the event.

 

Edit - having reread, maybe you are asking for this to be implemented, in which case you need to add it as a suggestion on a different forum https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Feature-Suggestions/idb-p/features
