I seem to have to "force" the sync -- NOT ideal! I find I need to open the app, see that it's not yet been updated, close it and then open the Fitbit app on my phone (Android) and force a sync (even though it's been syncing EVERYTHING else all along). Then, I can go back to the on-watch Strava app and, it's got the latest info.
It seems a counter-intuitive bug with the sync / the Strava app.
