I keep setting my app to say automatically calculate my stride length in the Fitbit app but it keeps reverting back to off. Why? Have an ionic watch so it has gps to enable this.

@JARJumeaux A warm welcome to the Community. Thanks for getting in touch about this.
I would like you to delete your stride length set on your account and then change the setting to automatically. Once you've changed it, please sync your Ionic to update its settings.
- Tap the Today tab, and tap your profile picture.
- Tap Advanced Settings > Stride Length.
- Adjust your stride length.
Let me know the outcome. I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

Having the same issue and the “fix” didn’t help. Try to toggle automatic stride length on, and it immediately toggles itself back off.

@Bdj223 Thank you for getting back. This week went out a newest version of the Fitbit app for iOS which is 3.25, please ensure that you have it installed.
Looking forward for your answer!

I'm on 3.25.1. Just re-tested and still not working. I toggle it on, and then it switches itself off.

Is there a resolution to this issue yet?
I too am on iOS and encountering the same issue. Both in the web dashboard and the app, I cannot set my stride to be automatically calculated.
My iOS Fitbit app is the latest version, plus I have reset my device.

I have the same problem and have tried everything I can think of.
Very frustrating!
