I have been wearing the ionic for the last week and the alarm has only woken me up once. It buzzes very lightly 3 times then goes straight to snooze. It would be great if the vibrate could be stronger or keep going until you have to manually switch it off as other alarms do. Some people are deeper sleepers so this would cater to all. If it kept snoozing with 9 minutes in between I would be constantly late for work.

I agree they should at least give you the option to how long or how often it does buzz. Although and maybe you have already done so, but you can set the alarm to being stronger in its settings.

I totally agree 100%. I was lucky I woke up by myself the other day. I sat and waited until the alarm kicked in and found:

A warm welcome to the Community @Martinefski, @Carina.b33 and @EmTe! I would like you to confirm that you've adjusted the vibration strength just as @Martinefski mentioned, when you're setting an alarm.
If you already adjusted it but it isn't working. You may want to post your idea in our Feature Suggestion board, those are viewed by our engineers and developers.
Hope this helps!

I have checked everywhere in the settings and do not see an option to make the alarm stronger. I've checked on the app as well as the watch but nothing. I have looked at all of the ionic manuals and online help pages but no instructions there either.

It's on the first window of the settings app. Vibrations. Normal or strong.

I feel no difference between the "normal" or the "strong" settings. I agree that the 3 short pulses are not adequate and there should be an option to increase the duration of the alarm pulses or make them continuous until cancelled or snoozed by the user. This is the #1 disappointment for me with this device.

100% agree it needs to have a continuous/constant alarm setting.
The alarm currently does nothing for me. Highly Disappointed.

This is my #1 disappointment as well. I’m trying to replace my Apple Watch with the Ionic as the Ionic does a better job monitoring fitness. I never slept through my Apple Watch alarm as it has a distinct alarm vibration that can be changed and vibrates until turned off. My Ionic only wakes me up maybe 20% of the time. I see no difference between between normal and strong vibration settings. Fitbit, please fix the basic alarm function as you market the Ionic as a smart watch.

Wow, I think the alarm is great. It hasnt failed me once. Much stronger than the flex 2 or Alta HR so I am happy!

Completely agree. My Charge HR worked perfectly, but I've slept through the Ionic alarm too many times and have now given up and gone back to the alarm on my phone/alarm clock.

How did you get your Charge HR to stop going off in the morning? Mine goes off every 20 seconds until I get up and walk “enough“ steps it seems
