Will a strong magnet interfere with the Ionic. I used a strong magnet to pick up nails from working on a building and my Ionic has stopped reading steps and heart rate. Clock works fine. Could this be the problem and if so can anything be done about it?

Have you tried restarting it? Press and hold the left button and bottom right button together for 15 secs.

Nathan makes a good point. Be sure and try his Restart suggestion before going the Support route. And try it several times if necessary.

Restarting my ionic did work. I don't know if the problem was the magnet or I just overcharged it. Thank youl.
