Has anyone had trouble with the Ionic turning off swim tracking in mid workout? Apparently for no reason it just ends the workout even when I am still swimming. It's happened several times and I am sure I have not inadvertently hit any buttons to stop recording.

Yes, mine has recently started doing this. I swim 3000 LCM (1 hour) 3-5 x weekly and the past couple of days the app has stopped during my swim. Monday, after just a couple of minutes, today, after 16. What has changed?

Try a factory reset. That's all my watch needed for the tracking capability to be restored. Keep an eye on what the battery is doing, may be an unrelated issue, but my watch died a few months after the tracking/factory reset incident. Battery would appear fully charged before bed and die during the night. Eventually quit charging.

Hey guys,
over here the same problem.
I use myswimpro to swim with my fitbit ionic.
After a while (mostly almost at the end) it shuts down the app and nothing or just a bit is registered to the fitbit app. Yesterday i had 0 meters and swom 3700. Did a reset and reinstalled all apps.
Today i swom 4000m -> 500m registered on the app. At the end, again, shuts down the app...
