Swimming Stats transferred to the app

I have an Ionic Fitbit watch and on the app on my Iphone it displays the number of calories I've used when going to look at my statistics after a swimming workout, not the pace or speed of my swimming laps.  After a workout the watch will display your pace and speed for your lengths but over a certain number of laps the watch says to get data for these laps from the app, but the app displays calories not my pace or speed. The calorie info means nothing to me. Can this be changed?  The watch is useless for swimming in its current format.

It's great to have you here @stephmcdade. Currently, the data that your Ionic will show on the tracker isn't the same one as in the Fitbit app and the information that will sync can't be changed.

Your feedback is totally appreciated as this helps Fitbit improve its features and data that's being showed on your Dashboard. You can post your idea in our Feature Suggestion board, those are viewed by our engineers and developers and the best of this is that people can vote and comment on them.

Thanks for posting your suggestion! Robot Happy

I can see that this post is from a year ago but I am having the exact same issue with my Ionic. Has there been an update, or any movement for that matter, on this issue?

No movement, I've now brought a Garmin, it's wonderful, sorry Fitbit you were too slow.
