Sync with gym equipment

Got an Ionic for Christmas. The equipment in my gym uses technogym/wellness technology. I have managed to sync the two apps but for some reason my workouts on the bike/treadmill don’t register on my Fitbit account.

 

However after a road run using Fitbit my wellness account registered the 5k run.

 

I just assumed the bike would do the same on my Fitbit. Is this not the case or do I have to manually input the details?

From what I’ve read around the subject, Mywellness is a one way street. They’ll happily pull data but less inclined to send it out. Seems they want you to use them for all your data collation. It’s the same for users of Strava, who tried to get their data to sync; from Strava to Mywell ess, no problem. Other way round - no go.
