Do you have to buy the flyer headphones to pair headphones with the watch or will other brands pair?

Hi rogue1s, i also have Jaybird X3 headphones, but i'm not able to sync with my Ionic. I have unpaired the connection with my phone, turn my phone's bluetooth off, even switch my phone off; but still get "No devices found" message on my Ionic. This is so frustrating 😞

I can pair my non Fitbit earbuds, but the sound is so loud that (even at the lowest setting) I can’t hear traffic around me.

Fitbits response absolutely appalling. My earbuds work perfectly with my other devices. This leads me to believe the problem is with the ionic.

This is my 3rd Fitbit and will be my last based on their appalling customer service

What works for me is.

1 unpair everything

2 turn headphones on

3 in settings on the ionic have it search for Bluetooth devices

4 while it's searching turn headphones off and back on

5 after this I'm able to pair everything else again and everything works unless I unpair

Thank you so much, I had my phone and my Fitbit both paired to my Beats, and I couldn't get the volume until I unpaired the phone from my beats.
